Zone Ortles Cevedale
Majestic mountain covered in ice, at the junction between three valleys: Martello, Pejo and Valfurva. It forms the centre of the secondary mountain group Cevedale-San Matteo, from which the three main ridges branch out.
Technical description
We reach Rifugio Larcher in the afternoon, and we spend the night there. The following day we climb up on a path to Passo Forcola and then, along a long and scenic ridge in high mountain, we reach Zuffalspitze (3757m). We cross a ridge to reach Monte Cevedale’s summit, from where it’s possible to climb down to Rifugio Larcher on gravels. Elevation gain: 1000m.

Info
Individual fee – 1 person = 400 euros, 2 people = 250 euros, 3 or more people = 180 euros.
Not included in the fee: the half board for the overnight stay, the half board of the Guide (which will be taken care of by participants).
It’s possible to rent the equipment: crampons, ice axe and harness.
