Adamello-Brenta Natural Park is the most extensive protected area in Trentino. It is located in the western part of Trentino. Its 620 km² comprise the Adamello-Brenta mountain ranges, separated by the Rendena Valley, and go through the Non Valley, the Sole Valley and the Giudicarie Valleys.
There are more than 80 lakes and the Adamello glacier, one of the most wide in Europe.
It hosts one of the most comprehensive flora and fauna all over the Alps (the ibex and the brown bear are also present). Moreover, several flowers of the park are already a rarity outside of it, and the thousands of species of birds, insects and plants have a fundamental role keeping the whole natural world well-balanced, both inside and outside the park.
