Wonderful itinerary in Val di Rabbi, for those who love cold and dusty snow, in a wild environment.
Technical description
From Rabbi Fonti we climb up through Val di Cercen, to Malga Cercen Alta. From here, we keep on crossing the wide slopes which will take us to the ridge that separates Cercen’s valley from Maleda. We follow the ridge on the West, until we reach the summit.
To descend, we must cross cold, northern slopes, until Malga Fratte Bassa (it’s possible to stop for a snack here) from which we come back to the start.
